Youth Audition Workshop (9-13yrs)

September 1st-October 8th, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Max of 6 Students per class

Young actors participating in this six-week introductory course will learn how to dissect a given monologue, explore its possible objectives and tactics, and aptly apply their findings to their stage work, through physicality and character exploration. This course culminates in a final video audition. (Classes will be added based on demand.)

Young Adult Audition Workshop (14-18yrs)

September 1st-October 8th, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Max of 6 Students per class

Young actors participating in this six-week introductory theatre course will learn how to dissect two open, contrasting monologues of their choosing. They will explore its possible objectives and tactics and aptly apply their findings to their stage work, through physicality and character exploration. This course culminates in a final video audition. (Classes will be added based on demand.)

Tier 2: Apply What You Know!

Youth Audition Workshop w/ Script Analysis (9-13yrs)

August 31st-October 7th, Mondays and Wednesdays

Max of 6 Students per class

Young actors participating in this six-week course will apply their understanding of monologue work to an existing text. Students will be given a play to read and de-construct in its entirety. From this play, they will learn how to analyze the script from the lens of the actor, using all discovered information to give a more nuanced portrayal of their characters. Students will also learn how to choose an audition worthy monologue from a scripted play. This course culminates in a final video audition, which will be viewed and assessed by other theatre professionals.

Young Adult Audition Workshop w/ Script Analysis (14-18yrs)

August 31st-October 7th, Mondays and Wednesdays

Max of 6 Students per class

Young actors participating in this six-week course will apply their knowledge of character analysis to two monologues within a given set of text. Students will read two plays and deconstruct them in their entirety. They will discuss their similarities and differences, discover the differing voices of their given characters, and learn how to analyze scripts from the lens of the actor. This course culminates in a final video audition.

Tier 3: Put it to Stage!

Virtual Table Read! (All Ages)

October 19th-November 19th, Mon-Thurs

Max of 12 Students per class

This course explores short scripts, scenes, and excerpts, workshopped and prepared for virtual debut near the end of the semester. Scripts would cover themes relevant to theatre, history, and the world at large. Work would help to improve an actor’s diction, reading comprehension, and public speaking skills for the stage.
