Hattiloo’s Resident Internship provides an environment that empowers tomorrow’s theater professionals to develop in their chosen field. By incorporating our residents into the work of Hattiloo in a deep, vital and mutually beneficial way, we help to foster thriving, passionate colleagues in the theater community. Please note that these resident internships are full time, full season opportunities for post graduate candidates.
All interns receive a weekly stipend of $175 (with increases after 6-month renewal). Hattiloo provides shared local housing to a limited number resident interns. It is possible for some interns to obtain employment within the theater for additional compensation. The normal duties of the internship must be completed before extra work can be taken on.
Internships typically run for six months, and can be renewed up to two years. Hattiloo will cover some travel expenses to and from Memphis, TN.
