TWO MONTH RESIDENCY

#BlkRenaissance901 is a structured residency and incubator designed to support artists in developing and producing a fully realized, public-facing concept.

Selected participants will receive a stipend and be responsible for building and executing a complete experience, which may take the form of a curated event, activation, or festival.

This year’s residency cycle follows a defined timeline:

  • Application deadline: June 9
  • Finalist selection and pitch process: Late June
  • Resident announcement: July 1
  • Residency period: August through September (6–8 weeks)
  • Final public activation: Scheduled in September

Participants are expected to actively engage throughout the full residency period. This includes concept development, planning, marketing, and execution, along with scheduled check-ins and working sessions.

This program is designed for artists who are ready to move from idea to execution with structure, accountability, and support.
