The Music Box is an intimate concert series featuring an eclectic lineup of Memphis artists. Performances range from bebop jazz, and soul. to rock, blues, folk, and experimental music.

This show features Antonio Hobson.

Antonio Hobson is a professional saxophonist, bandleader, and music educator based in the Memphis area. A graduate of Mississippi Valley State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance, Antonio has built a reputation for his soulful sound, versatility, and engaging live performances on alto, tenor, and soprano saxophone.

Throughout his career, he has performed internationally, traveling to more than 40 countries, and served with the B.B. King’s All-Stars at Sea from 2014–2018, eventually becoming bandleader. Antonio has also collaborated with Grammy-nominated artist Marco Pavé and performed with a variety of artists and ensembles spanning jazz, R&B, gospel, reggae, and contemporary music.
As the founder of A-Tonal Soul Music and leader of the A-Tonal Soul Quintet, Antonio provides exceptional live entertainment for weddings, corporate events, festivals, private celebrations, and church services. Known for his warm tone, professionalism, and passion for connecting with audiences, he continues to share his love of music through performance, education, and community engagement.
